		<description>I agree that it is very important to have a clear understanding of company values, organization and culture as you would be spending time making your career in that company. But practically, it is difficult to have a clear picture on all these aspects. But the question I would like to ask is the source of information you would trust more? Company vision and values written on the website can be one thing while the things in practice can be entirely other. Whom do you consider as a unbiased source of information? Also, asking people brings with it a lot of subjectivity. What a person perceives may or may not be the actual picture. How do value his opinion?
Also, what is your understanding of primary and secondary sources of information as mentioned in your post?

I think personal mastery is a lifelong process and the more we really work on mastery the more we realize that the &quot;win&quot; is in the process of becoming &quot;that&quot; -- and realizing that &quot;getting it right&quot; is a very personal experience.

In my country, if I go around saying, &quot;I have done this, I have done that&quot;, I would be perceived in a very negative way while here in US, it is the exact opposite. It amazes (and also freaks) me that these cultural factors can actually be decisive in your career progression irrespective of how good you are and how good is your work.
